The Crisis Team

THE CONCEPT

The crisis team brings together some of the very top skills available to provide a unique set of digital era crisis management services. Our approach is based on our own RAPTOR methodology and a low cost operating model, delivered by a team of global experts.

DIGITAL ERA CRISIS MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTS

THE RAPTOR METHODOLOGY

Our unique RAPTOR methodology is delivered in three phases: Risk Alignment, Preparation and Training, and Operational Readiness.

TOP TALENT – LOW OVERHEAD

We focus on providing the very best talent and capabilities, but at a competitive rate. Instead of charging helty retainers, we are able to offer a combination of ‘a la carte’ options as well as membership-based ‘service bundles’ so that you only pay for what you need.

AN ELITE COMBINATION OF TALENTS

Our three business lines bring together a elite skills and capabilities from: The Crisis Team for digital era crisis management services, from the ELIAS Partnership for specialist cyber and data law services, and from Mew Era Consulting for digital ethics services.

.

Our Unique Approach - based on the RAPTOR Methodology

Developed by The Crisis Team, the RAPTOR Methodology focuses on the unique aspects of crisis management required in the digital era. At its foundation is RA: Risk Alignment. Building on this is PT: Preparation and Training. And the outcome is OR: Operational Readiness.

Our membership starts with an initial engagement workshop to facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align the CMO’s Crisis Management Plan, the CIO’s Information Security Strategy and the CRO’s Privacy Impact assessment.

We support CEOs, CFOs, controllers and treasurers to optimise the structure of their finance functions to improve their contribution to the business. We structure our support to ensure that finance addresses the challenges of achieving appropriate standards of control, efficient back office opportunities and support to the business through insight and challenge.

We can also provide consultancy services to design and deliver development programs for business analysts at any level. We can help define the knowledge and key skills required for new or existing roles, assessing current or required competency levels and putting in place development programs.

Rapid Action

Rapid Action

Risk Alignment

We enable organisations to enable effective alignment between the CMO’s branding and crisis management plan, the CIO’s Information Security Strategy and the CRO’s Privacy Impact Assessment.

Rapid Action

Other consultants are silo specific: either supporting the CMO, CIO or CRO. They lack the cross-functional methodology, capabilities and skill-set to provide effective Risk Alignment planning across the functional silos.

Our membership starts with an initial engagement workshop to facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align the CMO’s Crisis Management Plan, the CIO’s Information Security Strategy and the CRO’s Privacy Impact assessment.

Preparation and Training

Preparation and Training

We help organisations with everything from scenario planning to full crisis rehearsals with elaborate simulations that put your team to the test, to see how they’s cope with a range of different possible crises.

Preparation and Training

While traditional crisis management agencies charge extortionate retainer fees, we simply ask clients to pay a small membership fee to cover the cost of ongoing preparation and training – costs that can be potentially offset, by potential reductions in cybersecurity insurance.

Our members gain certification if they maintain a programme of regular preparation and training. This ensures that the plans are kept up to date, and that scenarios are not only refreshed, but also rehearsed once or twice a year.

Operational Readiness

Operational Readiness

We enable organisations to enable effective alignment between the CMO’s branding and crisis management plan, the CIO’s Information Security Strategy and the CRO’s Privacy Impact Assessment.

Operational Readiness

Traditional crisis management agencies lack specialist skills in privacy and cybersecurity and focus on containment, which is impossible due to the prompt disclosure mandated under GDPR. Leveraging our global social influence, we are uniquely able to counter hysteria and misinformation.

Our members get discounted access to specialist crisis management support in the event of an incident. In addition to a group of principal and senior consultants, The Crisis Team has a pool of crisis management specialists to provide additional support to a firm’s in-house and agency resources.
